    In Latin America, and particularly in Venezuela, the agricultural, scientific, technical, ecological, and medicinal knowledge of Indigenous peoples is highly valued, based on a cultural worldview that enables harmonious living with the environment. This study develops reference categories of ancestral knowledge in the productive practices of the Pumé people as agroecological sustainability principles in the municipality of Achaguas, Apure. The research follows a qualitative-interpretive approach using a phenomenological method, in-depth interviews, and participant observation.
